Dr. Tonya Aloha Rogers is the Pastor and Founder of The Open Door International Ministries of the Apostolic Faith, located in Milwaukee, WI.

Her life was impacted early by God and quickly realized that her life was set apart for a special purpose.  At an early age the "hand of the Lord" divinely secured her protection.  Her call into the ministry was witnessed to and attested by powerful men and women of God.  

 

Called to operate with the "evangelistic" anointing, Dr. Tonya Rogers honed her skills of bringing the loss to Christ through her powerful and fervent prayer life.  

 

She grew up in a Christian Apostolic Faith home as a “PK” preacher’s kid, the youngest of 10, and with a host of relatives who are now Bishops, Pastors, Preachers, Teachers and Former Military Army Chaplain.

Dr. Rogers has been in ministry her entire life, and had every position in the church.  She is the daughter of the Late Bishop William Rogers and Mother Anna Ruth Kerr the founders of the Bethlehem Temple Church, Milwaukee, WI.

​

1960 - (At the age of 6 years old) she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized in Jesus Name.

​

1963 - (At the age of 9 years old) She received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of Speaking in Tongues.

​

1972 - Dr. Rogers continued her education and ventured to Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis.  With this added knowledge, Dr. Rogers continued with the foundation of  the Apostolic Faith and began preaching in various churches, conferences and revivals within the United States and parts of the world. Throughout her educational career, she has been the recipient of numerous academic awards, honors and recognition.

Dr. Rogers became an nationally ordained minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc., while assisting her father as the Assistant Pastor of the Bethlehem Temple Church, Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Rogers is one of those rare individuals who is not only a gifted composer and musician, but is also a caring and compassionate Pastor that has a deep burden for lost souls.

Dr. Rogers' gracious presence and humble spirit allows her to reach and touch many lives in ways that will continue to resonate throughout generations to come.

Dr. Rogers dedication to God, the Church, His people is unmatched. She comes with enthusiasm, humor, energy, and no small measure of faith to share.
